Florals on the 4th

This year, my July 4th had nothing to do with red, white, and blue, and everything to do with celebration. I absolutely loved it!


As I've gotten older, I have realized that holidays are all in what you make it. Walking into the weekend, I wanted to make plans but nothing was really set in stone. When this gig popped up, I figured WHY NOT?! Let's try something new and see what happens. And while I didn't celebrate the 4th of July like past years, I watched distant firework shows from the top of a mountain, devoured a cookie dough Blizzard from Dairy Queen, and fit in some time to pet puppies at Lewallen Farms.


 

ABOUT THE DAY


I jumped in to help Fun and Fancy Flowers with some floral work for a wedding in Waleska, Georgia that Lauren, from In An Instant, planned. It was on Sawyer Farm Road, so naturally it was meant to be. I pulled out my camera to snap a few photos and I am obsessed with how they turned out!
